NYC's only wildlife rehabilitation and education center. 501(c)(3). Accepts wild birds and small mammals 7 days a week; no appointment needed (leave a message if arriving near close). IMPORTANT LIMITATION: WBF CANNOT take exotic birds (budgies, parrots) or domestic birds (chickens, quail, domestic geese, tame doves) - for those go to ACC (as of 2022 the drop-off for domestic/exotic birds).
