IMPORTANT STATUS UPDATE: 501(c)(3) founded 2007 in Brooklyn (East Williamsburg) by Amy Marciano as a pit/staffie-advocacy dog rescue pulling from NYC ACC - but it PERMANENTLY RELOCATED to the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania in early 2018 due to NYC operating costs. It still adopts into the NY-area but is no longer NYC-based. Kept here (flagged) because it's frequently still listed as a Brooklyn rescue - verify NY-area availability directly before relying.
