501(c)(3) exotic-bird and reptile rescue (33+ yrs experience) providing shelter, medical care and nutrition for surrendered/abandoned birds and reptiles; accepts surrenders and does adoptions; specializes in behavior. It is an ACC New Hope partner, so it pulls at-risk birds/reptiles from NYC Animal Care Centers. REGIONAL - based in Rochester (~5.5 hrs from NYC); included for completeness because in-city companion-bird/reptile rescue is scarce, but it is a long-distance option, not a local NYC referral.
