NOTE ON FOOTPRINT: its physical sites are Long Island (Long Beach, 770 Park Pl 11561, by appt) and a Westchester adoption center - NOT a NYC borough. Included because it runs regular off-site adoption events ACROSS NYC via a mobile adoption vehicle, so it's a real NYC-serving channel. Adoption = application + interview + home visit + references. Dog fees ~ $325 senior 8+, $425 adult 1-8, $550 puppy/purebred-mix. Confirm which NYC events are upcoming.
