A members-only NYC Facebook group that covers ALL animals - any species emergency. How it works: you must be accepted into the group first, then you post the details of the animal emergency and community members respond/coordinate help. Because it is a closed group its internal operations can't be independently verified here; it is a fast community crowd-sourcing channel, not a licensed shelter or rehabber. For regulated situations (wildlife, injured protected species) still route to a licensed rehabber in parallel.
