All-volunteer 501(c)(3) rescuing dogs and cats from NYC ACC, with a focus on treatable special-needs cases (e.g. a dog with a remediable injury). Foster-based plus Petco/adoption-event locations in Brooklyn; no walk-in shelter of its own. Cats make up much of its intake, but it does place dogs - confirm current dog availability. Adopts locally and to other areas where references and a home check can be arranged. Donation requested at adoption.
